He holds a doctorate in degree in Psychopharmacology from the Complutense University of Madrid with research experience studying the neurobiological bases of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Professor under Prof. Carmen Sandi team, Brain Mind Institute, Lausanne, EPFL, Switzerland. In addition, he has over 10 years of experience as a consultant and entrepreneur within the medical technology industry.

Enrique Fernández has over 20 years of executive experience in international business development, sales, marketing and operations managing income statements of hundreds of millions of euros in multinational companies such as Manpower, Hays, Adecco and Telefónica. Enrique holds a BSc in Business from the University of Cantabria, Spain.
Dr. Pedro Bermejo. MD, PhD

Pedro, is the Co-Founder of Xana. Pedro is a Medical Neurologist with over 10 years of clinical experience in different hospitals. He has colaborated with multinational neurostimulation companies and participated in 15 clinical trials. Pedro share his time between Xana and his role as Medical Director of Translational Medicine at UCB Pharma in Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. David Calvo MD, PhD

David is a Senior Cardiologist wiht specialization in Electrophysiology at San Carlos University Hospital of Madrid, Spain. He is an international expert in the study of arrhythmias and President of the Spanish Heart Rhythm Society. More than 10 years’ experience in international research centers such as University of Michigan and SUNY Upstate in NY, USA.
Alberto Farre

Alberto has over 20 years of experience in the design of microelectronics and software working with several multinational companies as well as for the Spanish Navy.
Alberto holds an MSc in Electronics and Aircraft Maintenance from the Spanish Naval Academy as well as the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Carlos has over 15 years of experience in engineering and project management of innovative high-tech products with patentable results. Specialized in hardware-software integration, sustainability and design.
Carlos holds a MSc in Industrial Design & doctoral studies from the University of Oviedo, Spain.

Dr. Azpilicueta is a Cardiologist with over 25 years of executive experience in several multinational companies such as Medtronic Welch Allyn and Gambro where he served as EMEA & LATAM VP
Dr. Azpilicueta holds a Bachelor’s in Medicine and a Specialization in Cardiology from, the University of Navarra, and an MBA, from Instituto Empresa (IE), Spain.
Prof. José Antonio Vega. MD, PhD
Dr. Vega is a Professor of Anatomy and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Oviedo.
International expert in the study of the peripheral nervous system, with more than 200 publications on the subject.
Dr. Vega holds a Bachelor’s and a Doctore degree in Medicine from the University of Oviedo.
Dr. Iñaki Gurtubay MD, PhD
Dr. Iñaki Gª Gurtubay is the Head of the Neurophysiology Service and Sleep Unit at Navarra Hospital Complex. Dr. Gurtubay is also a Professor of Bioengineering at the Public University of Navarra.
Dr. Gurtubay holds a Bachelor’s and a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Navarra, Spain.
Agustín Canales
Currently, Agustin is located in London, and he is the Chief Executive Officer for United Kingdom & Iberia in Exactech Inc. American multinational orthopedics as well as the President of the Spanish Federation of Medical Devices Company-FENIN.
Agustín holds an MSc in Engineering and a Postgraduate in the London Business School.
